WARNING! VSTARCAM IP web cameras are infected with MALWARE! These are widely sold on Ebay. DO NOT BUY!!
I have tried to report this issue to Ebay but there is NOT a clear path to any person or department at Ebay to make such a report. The "canned" responses when trying to get help or contact Ebay are maddening and frustrating. i tried for 40 minutes to send a report to Ebay before giving up. So I will let the community know.
DO NOT BUY THE VSTARCAM ! It comes infected with malware called MIRAI which is botnot software. This caused my network to be listed in RBL's. I am an IT expert so there is no mistaking the issue.
I contacted the vendor's (Vstarcam) support several times who failed to respond.
If you use these cameras, it will end up getting your IP blacklisted and perhaps worse.
