With this new category system, if I can't browse books to buy that means my customers can't find my books either. Time to step back until they figure it out.

Hi blombo,
Thank you for taking the time to share this valuable feedback and for reaching out to us about the recent changes in Comic Books categories. In Comic Books, Age and Character-based categories have been retired and replaced by product type categories, divided by comic tradition: American & English speaking Comics, Franco-Belgian and Asian Comic. The categories have been replaced by item specifics and left-hand navigation refinements for Era, Character, Series, Publisher, Universe and Tradition. This should enable a more flexible browsing experience going forward, for example there is now a refinement for Silver Age Comics.
Following the category changes there will be some fluctuation in the item specifics and left-hand navigation filters. This should settle down in the next few days. We apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.
Kind regards,
Ella

This is absolutely a horrible change that needs to be reverted. What is the intention of this change? It has made buying and selling absolutely horrible and making a lot of people look for alternative to eBay.

I have to agree this change has caused views to drop dramatically. If I can find a book as a seller how
do you expect buyers to find it?

1. Do you have a basic store for your inventory? If not, got one. (I am a budget kind of girl w/$5/mo. store)
2. You can create your own categories in any store, up to 300 categories.
3. You can direct potential buyers to the category in your store via listing.
4. I've got around 30 categories (+/- 5) I just listed them first by publisher.
5. I added a "Star Wars" category, a "For Kids" category & a Manga/Anime category this week.
Buyers being able to click on a category, speeds up their excitement. Next thing you know, they are jumping around the categories. You just make it easier for them to find what they are looking for. So, don't step back. Step into buyers, and make the store your own, and convenient for them. Plus, it shows your respect for the books, and potential buyers. I'm still figuring it all out as well.
Good Luck & Cheers!
J.
