The character on the left is 龍 (dragon); the character on the right is 兔 (rabbit, or hare).
The middle character might be 戏 (meaning to play with, to have fun with, to tease) - but I could be wrong about that. (The dragon is obviously interacting with the rabbit in some way, so you get the general idea, anyway.)

Chinese, and the 5 clawed dragon signifies the Imperial house but this is modern (c1980 +) and that does not mean much these days. I have a c1860 altar cloth with 5 claw dragons that are important. You can get a postcard with a 5 claw dragon. There are auspicious symbols in there that someone may help you with.
