What is the proper keyword for a loose canvas like this? Any tips on selling them? I assume that the actual artist is no one of note. but I could be wrong.

Yes, and the cheap shipping is a real bonus. If you want to take up space in your listing, you could note that the canvasses are clean and sound (assuming they're all like this one) and can be easily stretched and hung unframed or framed, or they can be hung with hook-and-loop, washi tape, metal or plastic hinge clips, on a dowel, etc.

It is repetitive factory art. A good bet it is from China. The canvas has yet to be put on a stretcher so it is un-stretched and still has the curl from being cut off the roll on a long table along with a hundred similar images.. It is not antique or even vintage. Sorry and keep looking, there are thousands of better paintings that would be worthy of buying and selling.

Call it unstretched. You can also call it rolled.
And you're right that the artist is of little note, and that may not even be the painter's name. It is factory / starving student / sofa art. Like a lot of such art, it's skillfully done, but it's generic and its value is as decor.

Thanks, I had figured it was factory or student work without much value. However I have a bunch of them, they actually probably date to the 70s or 80s as the attic they came out of had been untouched since the early 90s and almost everything up there was older than that.
I wasn't expecting much value, at least they will be cheap to ship. I just had no idea what keywords to be using.

Yeah, they were all rolled up together in the same box, I eventually found the invoice in the bottom which was dated early 1998, so I was a bit off on the date. I guess it was one of the last things that got put in that attic.
