Shipping settings and watchers numbers are glitching

I've recently listed a Bitossi vase and a piece of Meissen. I had a watcher on the bitossi on the 3rd view, and as prompted, I sent an offer. Now, there are 5 watchers, but no ability to send more offers to these "interested buyers."

Is it something to do with the category, or price point? I've been able to send offers in the past even when one is already in the pipeline.

The meissen piece was showing NO views but TWO watchers (!@#%!!?) who've now disappeared, which makes sense, if they never viewed the item. Hahah.

Also, the shipping options that I KNOW I set very carefully are being erased about half the time when I go to print labels. The (for example) 8lb box 20×15×9" is defaulting to envelope, and the charge applied to buyers reflects the lowest (impossible) shipping selection. When I change it, I have to eat the cost. (After a lot of back and forth, and it happening more than once, I got a pass,) but I'm curious if any of you are experiencing "hiccups" also?

Yes, I'm on the android app.

Yes, I know the desktop is preferable.

No. Don't really have that choice.

This type of thing seems to be more common than I have experienced before. After 14 years of watching Ebay devolve into a righteous mess regarding policies, I wonder what is going on with the operational back-end?

I also can't help but notice that the trusty Pirateship discounts and cubic rate options are now all mainstream USPS or UPS menu items. No better than Ebay or any other similar service.

I'm sure I've missed a memo or some chunk of news that can explain these various anomalies, but I wanted to ask you guys first, as I don't have any faith in the babblings of their PR dept...

Category?

Price point?

System Upgrades?

Hallucinations?

Thoughts and experiences appreciated.

My listings are definitely acting weird in the app. And I hate using the desktop. Defeats the whole point of having an app for on-the-go capabilities. I have gotten three different answers from two different CS people. Hang tough.

I hope they roll back this "update" and think it over from the top.

meissen is listed under: And of course it is not a figurine.... Just saying the new category changes made to day may be interfering with your listings.

Re: Shipping settings and watchers numbers are glitching

Thanks @donsdetour  That never would have crossed my mind about figurines. But it does make sense.

Btw, I just got off another excruciating hour of getting non-sequitirs from CS and **apparently** the new system allows you to send offers to up to 30 watchers at a time, but now, once you've sent an offer to ONE buyer, that offer must expire or be declined before you can send any additional offers. The logic here, is stunningly nonexistent.
