Hi, all of you amazingly smart ebay folks.
I bought this really great set of 4 Chinese dishes. By using Google Lens, I've identified the mark (I think this is correct) as HUA RONG TANG ZHI.
When I searched this name, I found other items with the same image on the same yellow background - vases and such. But, I cannot find anything with the beautiful open lattice work that these plates have.
How can I find out more about the open scrollwork, if this helps date the plates, if it adds extra value and makes them rarer and any comparable plates with this comparable lovely open lattice work.
Each plate measures 10" and all are in good condition. They are very heavyweight.
Thanks so much!

@roses22, Google found this:
https://gotheborg.com/marks/20thcenturychina.shtml
Hua Ping Tang Zhi - Hua Ping Hall Make
Last quarter of the 20th century.
More info here (also from google):

I'd take the Gotheborg info at face value. In the second instance, the "experts" should remember that hallmarks are on precious metals. Ceramics just have marks.

Thanks for all of this. I just have another question - I cannot find any other examples of the beautiful open lattice work around the dish. Is that uncommon and do you feel that increases the value?

I think you can say reticulated or pierced, but lattice is a stretch.

Do you mean you can't find other examples of this from this maker, because porcelain with a pierced decoration is not uncommon. Did you try a Google image search, just to see what comes up?
I'd say whether or not the plates being pierced adds value is up to you. Emphasize it in the title and description when you list. Make it seem special and a part of what will make the plates attractive to display. As the oldtimers say: You sell the sizzle, not the steak. 🙂

I agree that lattice is a stretch, and I'd hesitate to call it reticulated because it is not double-walled. I'd just stick with pierced.
