I cant find anywhere to provide feedback to ebay on their recent changes in the listing catagories for the pottery and glass catagory...... but it stinks. I dont want to sort through every brand of dinnerware to find Fiesta, Harker, Franciscan etc. If you want to look at Post 86 Fiesta aka contemporary Fiesta, I dont want to sort through all the vintage Fiesta and vice versa. Catagories allowed these to be seperated. If I am looking for a coffeepot, I am looking for one brand not every pottery coffeepot listed. Removing the brand catagories was not an improvement. You messed up my searches . Bring back the catagories! 😞

@jkmf , I collect Fiesta also (post-86) and I haven't had any trouble finding Fiesta items.
I have never used category searches, because you never know what category a seller might have listed their items under. Just do a keyword search for what you're looking for, and it still works fine. Category searches always missed items. Especially if you were trying to use them to narrow down to Post-86 Fiesta only.
Realistically, there is no possible way to eliminate the pre-1973 Fiesta ware from a search, because many sellers have no idea of the difference, so they don't put the necessary information in the listing. And it was 50-50 if they got the item into the right category or not.
As a collector, you will have to eliminate those items yourself. With coffeepots, it's easy; the post-86 coffeepot shape is quite distinctive, with a small. The pre-1973 coffee pots either had large lids, or stick handles.
Here's a good search, almost all of these are Fiesta coffee pots:
fiesta (coffeepot, coffee pot, coffee server)

I ran out of time to edit ^^that^^. It should have said:
"... the post-86 coffeepot shape is quite distinctive, with a small lid. The pre-1973 coffee pots either had large lids, or stick handles."

I honestly hope eBay can see the error in their ways. The new categories are a complete disaster for anyone dealing in antiques & collectibles. I mean for real. They go and remove 90% of the categories???

"Fiestaware" is listed under "Dinnerware" in the Pottery and Glass category. Also, you can just use the drop down under "Brands" for Jugs & Pitchers, combined with "Vintage" to find vintage Fiesta - for example. It's a matter of looking around a bit for the new locations in the new format. Not difficult to find once you know where to look.
