The Title of the work Looks Like Villuggro Alphren (just a guess it looks like it is written in Italian) I think the first word is Village. Etching measures 13 x 16 inches - Plate pressing marks are present. Does anyone recognize the artists name? Thanks for your Help!

The title looks like it could be "Villaggio Algerino" (Algerian village), but a google search of that name or the artist does not turn up much. Or possibly "Villaggio Alpino" (Alpine Village).

That's how I read it too: Villaggio Alpino.

I think "Alpine Village," too. Maybe somewhere in Carrara...?

The signature is V. Vizzotto, not Virrotto - it's by the architect Valfredo Vizzotto (1880-1961):

What would your guess be on a date period for this style of his work.
