Old Porcelain Stein

IHxGPlH.jpgkbKYI6P.jpgISvEQgZ.jpgTAgQdRP.jpg

I've got an old porcelain stein that I don't know very much about except that the lid is marked ‘Pottenstein’, a Town in Bavaria, Germany, and the base is marked ‘Opaque de Sarreguemines’, which is a French manufacturer. I’ve done some basic research but can’t find many other steins made by this company.

Can anyone help date this stein? Or provide any further context? Any help appreciated.

Re: Old Porcelain Stein

this was made in the late 19th century when the town was in Germany.  the ceramic is pottery, not porcelain.  I have seen many steins from this company.
