 this has been in my family over 40 yrs. doesn’t appear to have markings. no idea on value or origin. Looks hand made

Need help identifying cabinet

Made of oak, I would say it's coming out of the late teens, and with the molding on the top having that old-world look as opposed to pure Arts Crafts it's headed into the 20's. Also, the hardware is a bit flimsy. Could you take a pic of the back and a side shot of one of those drawers?

Need help identifying cabinet

This is a weird design - almost like a china cabinet turned upside down but it appears to be well-made and solid oak. For some reason, I think it might be English but can't tell you why. Most of the hardware looks to be heavy brass and good quality but the door hinges may have been replaced and the little bracket to the left of the door likely isn't original and would have been used for curtains that obscured the contents.  FYI: Dowels are supporting the shelf but there are small steel or brass brackets that are intended for that purpose.
