Nazi Items

I am confused on the enforcement of WW2 German and Nazi items being sold on ebay.  I do not support the nazi ideal, however I have items to sell.  I checked current listings on Ebay and there are over 100 nazi helmets currenlty list and my listing got cancelled.  Why the lop sided enforcement of this rule?  Same with knives and coins from Germany not being banned.  I will follow the rules but for the average person looking to sell these items, they will search to compare prices and list the item.  After that Ebay may (not always) cancel the order.  What example is Ebay setting with an uneven  enforcement of this policy?  Should this policy also cover the USSR and Stalin government?

Re: Nazi Items

I just did a search and came up with 562 WW2 German helmets.

Re: Nazi Items

Nazi stuff is prohibited (and even that has some exceptions, including stamps and currency, for examples)  but not everything from Germany or from the German military of the era is Nazi-related.

There is an eBay category, for example, that is:  Collectibles > Militaria > WWII (1939-1945) > Original Period items > Germany > and then more subcategories, such as Personal Field Gear

You can see all the categories here:

https://www.ebay.com/b/Militaria/13956/bn_1852614

Have you read the entire policy?  Here it is:

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/offensive-materials-policy?id=4324

It is true that from the beginning of the Third Reich there was a massive push to politicize the German military, all three branches, top to bottom, to infuse it and underpin it with Nazi ideology;  but the Nazification of the military was far from complete.
