After having researched this peace as best as I could....I couldn't find anything on it. Yes, similar items but not like this one. All that I know it is from Japan and I believe a jewelry box. What metal, I do not know. It weighs 3 lbs. It does have a mark on the bottom and maybe someone knows what this mark is. Any information on this piece is most appreciated. Thank you.
