Re: Melmac help

I don't know the name of this pattern. I have a couple of pieces, but I've never found the name. Royalon was a subsidiary of Royal china, introduced in 1957. Most pieces of patterned dinnerware like OPs are from the early sixties. (Only flat pieces are patterned like plates, saucers and platters. Cups, bowls, creamers/sugar bowls, shakers, butter dishes and gravy boats are solid colors.) Sorry I can't be of more help.

PS....I usually eventually find pattern names by searching vintage ads for Melmac.

Re: Melmac help

Thanks Kelly.  I'm terrible on flower types.  What flower is this?

Re: Melmac help

Maybe dogwood. I did a quick search but didn't see your pattern.

Re: Melmac help

I thought dogwood but the leaves don't look right.  This looks more like a vine

Re: Melmac help

That's more of a cherry, apple, peach blossom pattern.
