Illusive and Mysterious Art Glass Piece from Vintage Estate...Just can't find one like it anywhere..

I found this lovely piece at an estate sale in a rural area - definitely out of place! The piece is gorgeous, even being unmarked - which I found odd seeing how striking it is. I've tried reverse image searches and the like - I just can't find this piece anywhere! I'm hoping an extremely well educated user on the forum here can help me track this piece down. It looks like it could have been a planter of some sort. Just something I thought I would let the forum see!

Chalet art glass, maybe.  They used foil sticker for some pieces. Other pieces have it etched into the base. 

Nice find in a great color.
