Hello all, i am wondering if anyone out there might know if this is a early Lewis Tiffany and Co. trademark or someone else? Any info greatly appreciated..Thank you all in advance for taking time to read this..
Tiffany & Co was started by Charles Tiffany not Louis, his son, Louis Comfort Tiffant started a glass company that made lamps which was what made him famous.
Given that it wouldnt make sense to attribute that mark to Tiffany

Thank you so much. I think it’s brass but i’m Not sure. My knowledge on antiques, metals very, very ( very ) limited, that is why I LOVE THESE BOARDS 😊😊😊 thanks again .
Found the mark on the back of a picture frame for sale online - the seller says in the listing they are "almost certain" it is Lord & Taylor. You will have to do some research to confirm.
