Hi - Can someone help me figure out how to describe this item so I can list it? There are no markings anywhere on it. And I don't know how to describe it to find comps.

Here's one just like yours. Does yours have the two holes in the back like the one here?

How about a search for a 'vintage/antique wedding cake topper'?

Hmmmm, reading that other description, I don't necessarily agree that it is two women, rather a fancy-dancy dressed guy and his dressed up bride in french attire. All in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.

Looks like 2 women to me, denoted by the eyelashes and lipstick. Pretty!

At first glance, I thought it was two ugly women.
After reading the response from gracieallen01
I looked again and I do see one as a man. Notice the jacket with lapels, sleeves, cuffs. The eye lashes and lipstick do make one wonder, but if French, who knows. Could be the artist's embellishment. I'm going with man and woman.

It wouldn't be surprising if nowadays not many people were interested in, or aware of, olden times or people like Louis XIV (and his court).

Nice find!
But those are not Victorian figures. Georgian. Whatever. But 18th Century, not 19th.
I swear that at least half the "Victorian" items listed on eBay are not Victorian. The thought process seems to be, "Oh, it doesn't look modern, so I guess it's Victorian."

Use Google Lens (Google search app) on your cell phone. It will find a similar item wherever it may be. I do this a lot when I'm stuck for descriptive words.

Looks like a woman and a man (ruffled layered color) not two women imo

Yes I did not mean to suggest that the description is completely accurate - except perhaps that the item is a wall plaque. I agree that the two are meant to be bride and groom despite the groom's long eyelashes.

And that's exactly what I did to find the link I posted a short while ago here! But the description (as I also just posted) is not completely accurate in my opinion.

Definitely a man and a woman.....not only the clothes but also the hair styles.

Yes: woman on left, man on right. In addition to the differences others have mentioned, compare the hairstyles.
Here's another listing:

Maybe 20th-century Japanese? Something along the lines of this pair (although they are better quality, and the eyelashes are more subtle):

Sorry for echoing your comment about the hairstyles, I didn't see yours until I posted.
