Hi, I bought this at a garage sale. Is it a military grave marker?
Any help in solving this mystery is much appreciated.

It's 4 - 1/2" long, stamped on back I think Mervin Products, Cleveland Ohio. Made of some metal, found hanging in barn of a garage sale

Well, the basic design is that used for grave-markers for World War II veterans, but it lacks the details. Look at these to see what I mean:
Note that it's the same design as the WW2 honorable discharge patch:

Sorry, should have included a link with the patch. You'll see honorable discharge / honorble service lapel pins, etc., too, of the same design.
