Help. Can't seem to identify this political figure. Can you?

Can someone identify this Parker. The button is from around the 1960's - 1970's, but I can't figure out what he ran for.  I have found nothing on Google to identify him. I found one pin just like mine, but the person doesn't give any details. ParkerPin (6).JPG

Do you happen to know the location of the other seller? If you're both from the same area then it could be a local figure.

I see a listing for Crawford Parker, running for governor of Indiana--don't know the outcome.

They are from an estate in Michigan, so he could be the Indiana govenor mentioned below.

Definitely Crawford Fairbanks Parker.  Brief bio and some pictures, posted by his family, here:

He was Lieutenant Governor when I was in high school in Indianapolis, so I remember him.
