Did you buy a pair of satin wedding shoes from the 1940s a few years ago?

This is a long shot, but I'd like to reach the woman who purchased my mother's wedding shoes. She was in the Midwest and had a bridal shop where she was featuring my mother's shoes in a display. We had a nice exchange via the Ebay message system, but Ebay has now erased that.

Have you looked through your feedback records for the buyer's eBay name?

You could try Worthpoint and Google.  Enter the title of the posting you used.

I don't think WorthPoint will disclose the name of the buyer. But I'm sure the bridal shop will have an online presence, so checking out names and locations on Google is a good suggestion. It might well jog the OP's memory.

Thank you everybody for your replies. I did look in my feedback, but that is also erased by eBay after a year or so. Probably there are options to archive (download) messages and feedback, but I haven't done that, unfortunately. Trying a little harder to search for the bridal shop is a good idea.

You should check your Feedback Profile again (while logged in). I can see the names of everyone I've bought from/sold to since my first transaction in 2001. The dates just say "More than a year ago," but all feedback given and received is there.
