I was searching looking for some vintage rhinestone barrettes tonight. I gave up. Page after page of Chinese reproductions. How do we bypass these things and find the true vintage. I gave up.

Not my area of expertise but I generally eliminate all "new" products when searching for something that is vintage and frequently knocked off

Also you can narrow by location to exclude China but that isnt always as effective.
