Any thoughts on age, type and authenticity of FLINT SPEAR POINT?

Hi all, wondering if anyone has thoughts on the age, type and authenticity of my flint knapped spear point.  Measures 4" (10.16 cm) long by 1-5/8" (4.13 cm) wide.  Thanks for having a look!

This was found in a bureau in Chicago--I don't know where it was originally discovered.

Problem wit types of projectile points is they can be found looking very close to others types in different areas (technology). 

Some times material made from can aid in ID, yet not always.

This is the problem for artifacts with out knowing where the originated.

There are boards that specialize in such and would advise finding one and asking there.
