Any more info on this IPG Company glass piece?

Looking for any other info on this glass piece.Bottom markings-“Patent Applied For” stamped IPG in a triangle that also has a small triangle inside.  Also a number 4. I believe this is made by the Illinois Pacific Glass Co. based on the stamp.

Does anyone know it’s possible use? Decanter or vase are my guesses. I can’t find a similar piece online so also wondering if this could be rare?

This is a heavy glass vase, most likely machine made, but I think the design was influenced by a Rene Lalique design called “Amphitrite” . Thank you in advance for anything helpful towards my research on this piece.

It's shown here, if you don't already have the dates: https://glassbottlemarks.com/bottlemarks-3/

I added better photos of the bottom markings.  Sorry I don’t know how to edit a posting. Thanks so much!
