OT-Favorite Band/Music ~ Reading C&PM

Hello Friends,

I thought I would mix it up a bit and ask what people listen to (if anything) while reading & posting here. Music is a huge part of my life (for better or worse) but it is always a constant. Does anyone here have a favorite group/band that they listen to and would like to share that with everybody?

I will take that next step. My favorite band is Steely Dan and I listen to "AJA" quite often full blast with my JBL L-112's flexing their might and reading the posts here. It is a cool experience for me and I am in hopes that those who listen to music while perusing this board will share what they listen to. 🙂 No right,no wrong, no scam; it is what it is. Do tell...

I don't recognize her, southern! I see from some of the related videos BOC has been touring again this year, with Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot) playing bass. Bet he never saw that comin'!

I saw them at several stadium gigs in the late '70s and early '80's. My wife (girlfriend at the time) saw them at a local bar with me in the mid '90s with a crowd of about 50. We spent about an hour after the show drinking a pitcher with Eric Bloom. They're still one of my wife's favorites even though she was about 10 in their heyday!

Here's a good 10 minutes of music. It looks like Skynyrd's entire set from this show at Knebworth in 1976 is on YouTube. Fantastic stuff...

BOC is one of the very few bands that I missed seeing in the '70's.

I have always loved the way that Falling In and Out of Love leads into Amie and then the two songs blend together. BTW, PPL surprised me in that they could really rock once they got passed this song.

One of the very 1st concerts I ever saw was LS "One More From The Road" tour here at the Sports Arena New Year's day 1977. I remember Ronnie Van Zandt strutting about during the opening song "Working For MCA", he was wearing a full length mink coat. In San Diego? :^O Well, whatever, that song kicks a$$, and they absolutely destroyed us with a very loud, ears-ringing, rock show. 🙂 I loved it, until the planecrash a few months later.:_|
