In the early 70ties when Snickers bars all of a sudden cost .15¢ we complained; but bought them anyway.
The early 70ties was also the time when you saw old people in the store buying canned cat food to eat.
I guess cat food was better quality then:/
I keep asking: 'why can't I have a jeep?'; hoping one will fall out of the sky.

Just a heads up.
You have one listing up right now. The title is for 1996 quarters. But your description and pictures are for 1976 Bicentennial quarters. So you need to fix something as your title is different than everything else.

Hola Moderncoins...! Heron can tell you about complaining. If a person wants to hear many complaints, land a job as a salesperson selling electric generators, electric motors, electric brake/motors, electric right angle gear motors, electric variable speed controls for electric motors. All sorts of complaints can be listed, however, Heron has one near the top of the list. Picture an office building being constructed. And then picture a large ventilation fan (with motor) being delivered to the job site early. Fan with motor sat idle for about 4 months. When vent fan was installed and power supplied it 'exploded' internally. Customer wanted motor replaced under warranty. Heron went to job-site and collected information from employees on the job. And also inspected the motor at a company warranty shop. It seems that a family of rats decided to turn the electric motor into a residence. In addition, the rats ate quite a bit of the insulation on the copper motor windings.
Not covered under warranty. That is when the REAL complaining started. Ha.

A penny used to be equal to a day's labor. By the 1850s people were opening Penny Shops to sell candy to make ends meet. Same old, same old.

Hola Mr. Smedley...! regarding the large vent fan & motor: Heron never did get a solid answer from anyone about 'why' it was on the jobsite 4 months. Heron was somewhat surprised that the fan & motor were not stolen from the jobsite! (Rats. and mice, ants, lizards, snakes, and large insects are some of the natural critters Heron was to find during his 3 decades selling electrical items. Especially in single phase motors. The single phase motors have an internal starting mechanism that can grab a small intruder and squeeze it to eternity). When Heron tells this story some folks ask why are the motors open to allow critters to take up residency? Monnaie is the answer. A totally enclosed motor (with external cooling fan or no fan a-tall) cost more than an 'open' motor. When a pump or fan manufacturing company gears up to make a 'new line' of product, it is usually in the tens of thousands. Heron had a customer that purchased 47,500 motors in an 11 month period. The attitude was, well, we know some will fail due to being an 'open' motor but we can live with a 3% failure rate...! So, looking at it 'money-wise' 47,500 enclosed motors would probably cost perhaps $475,000 more than 'open' motors. And, if none of the other manufacturers supply enclosed motors, any manufacturing firm changing to enclosed motors would probably see bankruptcy in their future. The pump and fan market is a huge market and it is shark time amongst competitors...!
