Atocha, real or replica

I am trying to settle my mothers estate. We found this pendant that belonged to my dad. It is approximately 1.25 inches x 1.25 inches and weighs 28 grams and bought approximately 30 years ago.  I do know that Dad referred to it as his Atocha pendant, and I vaguely remember him saying it was made from Silver that was on the Atocha. My younger brother thinks it is a real Atocha Coin. Knowing my parents finances I highly doubt they could afford the thousands a true coin would cost. Still looking for paper work, but was just looking to verify that this is not a real coin (I did some searching and never found anything with the both sides matching, one or the other, but not both. I appreciate any help.

Thank You

Atocha, real or replica

I don't think that the Atocha was carrying any coins that were specific to that ship, so without paperwork/proof you having nothing to prove that it came from the Atocha.

Atocha, real or replica

The Atocha sank in 1622. That pillar design didn't appear until 100 years later.

So no, it is not an Atocha coin.
