Definitely outside my bailiwick.

hand hammered, probably India, probably 18th century...
i went thru India in my 18th century Krause, didn't see even a close match, but that doesn't mean anything... it might not be pictured, it might be too worn, it might be another century...
it might be unlisted - though doubtful... there's not much missing from the books...

And way outside of Heron's area of study!
Heron is thinking that maybe the item shown by OP could possibly be a 'local'
type issue. Something issued by a small city 'Rajah'? Or even a type of local
'token' rather than an official big-time govt issue?

Frustrating. I've had this type coin in the past, can't remember which Indian state it is. The mint symbol is a small dagger in the upper right field.
