Good afternoon all,
I was hoping for a little help...
We purchased what appears to be American depression (1930s) era counterfeit notes from a local sale here in, Jersey. The notes were sold by an elderly woman who stated her father once owned a General Store and a customer tried to pass these off during a purchase in that era. They kept them all these years and she later framed them.
They're very nicely hand-drawn of pencil graphite and ink on paper.
My question(s).... is there a "market" for such notes? Is it "legal and/or permitted" to re-sell them?
I've searched for a number of hours and cannot find any comparables. Can you all please help?
Thanks!

They are illegal to own.
Having said that, there is a market for this sort of thing, as there is for almost everything. You would have to find a dealer willing to buy them under the table.
Not that I would ever recommend such a thing.

agathetyche,
You've helped me over the years ID a few "ancient" items.
I was hoping if you can please share your thoughts once again on this tiny chalcedony stone disc:
