Please help to identify Vintage ZEISS IKON Germany Camera Accessory Part Still in Packaging

I found this in the bottom of a vintage Kalart Zeiss Ikonta flash unit box. 

It is approximately 3.75" long and 1.25" wide.

Can anyone help with identifying this vintage camera accessory / part?

No numbers or identification on package you will have to open it, or gamble that some one would purchase it as is unknown item......

Accessories for that flash could have included; bulb holders and bulb holder adapters, brackets for the flash. 

You have to find the micro market of specific collectors who would know for certain, they always know.

Of course an internet research Tarzan will find something, they always do
