message error

i get a Message Error saying I reached the limit on messages I can send in a day and that I can send more tomorrow,(Trading 20958) is at the end. Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it. I haven't sent messages with my phone today either. thanks

It is a glitch. You can try contacting the seller using a different link, like using the one on the top right of the feedback page or using a different browser. If nothing works try again later.

If you have been making offers on different items, that could be why you are receiving the error code. Offers are considered to be an ebay message, since they are sent through the ebay message system, so are replies to seller's messages.  There is a limit of 10 messages/replies that you can send in a 24 hour period.

I had the same issue, and when I looked up the error code it led me to this page:

Scrolling down I found the number 20958:  that error code means you’ve been blocked.
