how can I request another return with different return reason

I recently purchase a water heater from eBay ($1500+).

When I went to pick up the item, I realized the item is too big and cannot fit to my house, so I filed a return request using reason of "item does not fit"; since the item was listed as "no return", the seller declined my request. 

So I took it home with help of a plumber contractor. When I un-package the water heater, I did not found manual brochure, nor the warranty. There is no any original documents attached with the shipment, and the item is listed as "NEW" condition. I believe the item is not as described. I want to file another return using a new reason, however, there is no such option for me. When I tried to call customer service, they directed me back to eBay website, where it basically mentioned seller can reject my return since policy is "no return". 

There is no way for me to ask eBay to step in and review my issue as a buyer. Where can I get help?

First of all, buy a water heater from your local plumber. Less hassle. 

one return request is it, so you can go back to your original payment method and file a dispute.

This morning I discovered that I need a new water heater too.  I would not buy it here even if 99% off.   As the other person told you, you can ONLY open 1 return request.    Warranty on ebay?  You have 180 days of buyer protection here and ONLY if you used paypal or a credit card.   If you want a warranty on a product, you buy directly from the manufacturer  or a store like Lowe's or Home Depot.

Your choice is to file a dispute with the credit card company.  If you win, YOU will have to pay to return that item back to the seller.   Or ,  does the item look new?  Will it fit in the basement?  Can the plumber install it.

Both choices are horrible.   The fact that the manual is not there could be that it was never put in.  Many items now have manuals online. Did you try looking to see if the manual is available online?

You're at the end of the rope at eBay @gallelo unfortunately. 

But since it's not new, you can

-- file a MERCHANDISE NOT AS DESCRIBED chargeback with your card issuer,

-- show that you already got a workout bench-pressing the item,

-- and now the seller must pay for return shipping.

When you went to pick it up and realized it was too big why did you accept it? You should not have given the seller the QR code or 6 digit number. You should have filed not received and gotten your money back or filed a chargeback letting the cc co know the delivery didn't take place because the water heater was too big and the seller still has it.

You can't change the reason for the return. 

I believe you will need to return the water heater before your credit card will refund. How will you prove that?????  You will need online viewable tracking with Signature Delivery for proof it was received back.

Maybe it will be cheaper to resell it.

It wasn't a local pick-up directly from the seller. The OP picked it up from the carriers local terminal to save $250. Below is a quote from the listing.

"Free shipping via freight to the closest local terminal near you. Truck or trailer will be required to pickup. If you want or need it delivered curbside, there is an additional $250 fee you will need to pay."

TBH, I feel for the seller! 

1. Why would someone buy a water heater from an ebay seller?!?!

2. @fab_finds4u - why would INR and a strike against the seller be appropriate when the buyer should have done his/her homework before buying this type of item? 

3. None of the electronics, yard tools (lawn mowers, gas grills) or housewares items I've purchased in the recent past came with manuals. It instructed new owners to go to a website.

Had to replace a water heater in my previous home before we sold it. I don’t recall there being any manuals of any kind. All the info is ON THE WATER HEATER. It’s obvious to me what’s going on here.
