Hello- I havent purchased anything on eBay in a while. So i may have missed something. I purchased 4 books from the same seller in one transaction and was charged $11.34 for the books and i was also charged $1 PP merchant charge. I looked in eBay help and couldnt find anything on the merchant charge. Since the GTC started i have moved the majority of my items to other sites and apparently I have missed an announcement. Will someone please point me to the link where eBay is now charging us to use paypal. wondering if this is another reason my sales have been dropping.

I do not know how the seller was able to add a PP Merchant Charge note to an invoice. The fees for selling on Paypal are 2.9% + .30cents on all transactions, so the total for that sale is .63 cents. I guess they are trying not to make the fee look like a handling charge.

It should reverse when they verify the card.

Yep, whenever I've used a different card I'll get that authorization charge. It'll reverse back in a few days.

It happened to me anytime, when I used my CC. But it can’t find in the CC statement. I think it will charge back soon.
