Seller feedback and score is hidden, why is that?

First time i've encountered this, seller is able to sell several items but both his score and feedback is hidden. Why does eBay allow this?  i would like to buy something from him but i don't know what his score is

If you are trying to see their feedback profile page by clicking on their feedback number at the top of the listing, that no longer works.  Scroll down a listing page until you see their username in a large font. Below that will be a few comments and an oval with See all feedback clicking on that will take you to their feedback profile page. 

  However, that seller has received no feedback in over a year which is why their feedback percentage is (0)%.  Hopefully, the seller is aware that as a returning seller they are now considered to be a New seller, and will have a 21-30 day hold placed on the payments received for the first few payments they receive.

Before buying from them you may want to message them and ask if they know that because they have not sold anything in over a year ebay will place a hold on their payments. Tell them if they weren't aware of that, do a Google search for "Payments on hold - ebay"  they can get info about the hold. They should open the result that has export.ebay.com in its address.

You will need to open one of the items they have for sale, then scroll down to the bottom of that page to see Feedback.

In addition to the previous advice, when you get onto the seller's feedback page, make sure that the sort is selected to Most Recent.  It seems always to default to Most Relevant, which IMO acts – let's just say that it acts unexpectedly – so make sure of the sort every time you go to anybody's feedback page.

Ebay does NOT allow  members to sell anything if they choose to keep their feedback private.

IF a member has their feedback set to private then they are not selling anything so you can't buy from them.
