Purchasing only some of an offer

A seller has two item offered and I only want one. I have contacted the seller and seller has agreed to a price for just one item. There is no option on the original posting to enter anything but to accept the original price for two pieces. Seller tells me to submit my order but I’m afraid the entire amount will be charged to my credit card. Any help?

You can either buy them and hope the seller will honor the agreement or find another seller who has one of the item. 
The full purchase price will be charged to your card, if the seller is true to their word will refund you the difference for one item. 
Or you can ask the seller if they will create a a new listing with only one of the item.
