Sellers send me offers. How do they know that I looked at their item for sale?

They don’t know your ID. eBay just allows them to send offers to people who have looked at their listings.

The all seeing eye. eBay knows what you looked at and offers the option for the seller to send you an offer. The seller does not know who you are. Just that there are people that looked.
