Gee guys, after 20 or so years, I've almost given up on Ebay. In the last year or so, I've been poking around for some material, specifically some steel sheet metal. I enter search terms, or use the somewhat limited check-boxes, the results come up with generally completely unrelated garbage. I might be looking for some 16 or 14 gauge steel sheet, and a myriad of outright garbage, completely unrelated, and otherwise useless results. There's been other things too, but for this it's not important.
Then, when I do seem to finally stumble across something close, the prices and shipping fees are just insane. I've found Online Metals and Metals Depot to be cheaper, and more reasonable shipping prices. The prices and shipping are bad enough through Ebay, but **bleep** the amount of crap that shows up in search results is just stupid. Baffling. Complete waste of time, and at my age, I don't have a lot of time to waste. Good luck guys, especially you delusional sellers. It's been fun but I think I'm done with Ebay for nearly everything. Dang Ebay, do you even monitor what goes on with sellers with what I see as sellers spam? Like the same dang thing list 100 times from the same seller?
