Hi @trilobite1949

eBay policy is that buyers need only return items to the Item Location shown in the listing … meaning to the US.

Try asking eBay to step in after you wait 3 business days for the seller to send you a prepaid shipping label.

If not given the opportunity to ask eBay to step in on Day 4 … then contact your credit card company, requesting a chargeback.

Did you file a Not As Described case?

If the seller wants you to return to China the seller needs to send you $ for the label.

There is no requirement for you to send photos except through the MBG and filing a case and only if eBay asks you to.

@trilobite1949,

STOP messaging the seller!!!

Go to your purchase history, find the listing you bought from, click on the More actions button. Select Return Item from the list that appears select the appropriate reason for the return then file the dispute.

Once filed the dispute will appear just above your purchase history. The seller will have 3 days to reply by either sending you a return shipping label or issuing a full refund. If they do not do either or try to get you to return the item to china on the fourth day open the dispute and click on the Ask ebay to step in button. You will be refunded from the seller's account.

In the future I suggest that you check seller's feedback profile pages and if you see that one is registered in China, but gives a U.S. item location, hit the back button.

File a return case and ship to the address which the label has on it. Do not ship to an address not provided through Ebay. That would be an unauthorized address. You will not be covered under the policy for a refund.

   After you take the advice from the previous posters get yourself familiar with Ebay policies/protections for buyers. Read and understand them and save yourself grief rown the road.

You need to look at eBay ID Buyer in their 'feedbacks'...it seems you had a run of bad luck with sellers from China.

Do not respond to seller's emails.

Just open claim for a return.

@trilobite1949

Have read past posts where CS has taken action negating the requirement to return when the item to be returned is deemed hazardous. You may want to contact CS. Preferably not the off-shore CS.

Always take pictures when filing a return. @trilobite1949
