Is there a way to find a cached original listing? Seller changed their item description overnight.

Seller changed item description overnight, 20 hours before auction close, and I mistakenly kept bidding. Just wondering if there's anything that can prove the change.

Was not aware that the description could be "changed" on a listing with bids.

Nothing of any importance can be altered once there is a bid on a live auction.

The seller can edit certain things, but most the options are locked in and not editable.....

Pretty much the only thing a seller can change after there are bids @mealbundy is:

1. Add information underneath the original description. It would be clearly noted as an addition with date/time and you could see if if you viewed the listing as-is. No need for a cached version.

2. Add additional photos. Images cannot be deleted and the lead image cannot be changed, but the seller can add additional photos.

You could, of course, ask the seller what they changed.

GLORIOUS!
