I went to buy an item from my save for later list and it disappeared after I clicked the add to cart option. Normally, if an item is no longer available it won't have an add to cart option. It will say "ended" or "no longer available." This time it said "add to cart" but when I clicked that option it took me to Ebays main page and disappeared from my save for later list. I searched for it again, but it's nowhere to be found. Is it possible that happened because the seller deleted their account or put their account on vacation mode? I'm super disappointed because I can't find the item anywhere else. Also, if the seller just put their shop on vacation mode, will the item pop up in search at the top of newly listed, or will I need to just scroll through everything once in awhile to see if it came back? Thank you for any incite anyone can give me!!

If the item was no longer listed either it ended or the seller's account was closed by ebay. Items in your watch list that have ended are on the last page or bottom of your watch list and say Ended over the item title.
Sellers cannot just close an account, they have to wait 60 from their last transaction to be able to close their account. If a seller has a store and puts it on vacation, listings stay active but there will be a blurbon their item pages saying for example: "The seller is away until August 24, and will not be able to ship until then" or similar wording.

Thank you, I appreciate your help in understanding this! It sounds like they had their account closed, since the item was still at the top of my watch list but was missing in action. I also tried looking up the seller but couldn't find them, sadly.
