Has anyone else not received replies from eBay support?

I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced something similar. I bought several books from a seller on the German eBay site. At checkout, VAT was already charged by eBay, but when the parcels arrived in Hungary, the Hungarian Post charged VAT again because the IOSS numbers were missing. I ended up paying VAT multiple times for the same order.

 

I contacted the seller, but they told me that the shipping was handled by eBay Global Shipping and that eBay is responsible for this kind of issue.

 

I’ve emailed eBay customer service several times (the first one 12 days ago, then about 3 days ago, then just sent yet another one couple of minutes ago) and provided all the invoices and proof of payment, but I have not received any reply.

 

Has anyone else had this kind of problem with VAT being charged twice (or more), or with eBay support not responding? And if so, how did you resolve it?

You are located in Hungary, and purchased from a seller on (ebay.de) their German site and now are asking your question on ebay's U.S. based site (ebay.com).  Here in the U.S. we do not have VATs, so we cannot help you with them being double charged. 

  I think what you should do is to login to ebay's German site (www.ebay.de) use the translation button there if you need to, and try posting your question on that site's community.
