Fake Tracking Numbers

I ordered something on July 2 and seller sent me a UPS tracking number I have never seen. It starts with a K. There is no record of it in the UPS system. I went back and forth with the seller and after about four times they said they didn't know what else to do and said that I can take care of it through ebay but I tried and they just send me an automated message saying tracking number was sent. It was suppose to be here by the 17 today.

If it doesn't arrive in a day or two,  file a INR case on it. Is the seller registered in the US? That may be a number they use when handing the package off to USPS. Did you try tracking it there?

 K means it’s a international hand off, UPS assigns Waybills with a K, people from outside the USA use UPS to drop ship, package is probably at customs and has not been handed to UPS to deliver.
