Why is it not mandatory that all items with a expiration date be posted with the item. Unless you ask the seller if it's not posted, you are probably going to buy a expired product. This has happen you me many times. Womens make-up something is old and dryed up unusable.

Actually, it is required that any expiration dates be stated in the listing.

@ernierob66-2014 If you received expired products and the date was not shown in the listing you are covered under eBay's MBG. Sellers should not be listing those products as posted above.
If this is a regular occurrence for you then you should ask the seller if no dates are in the listing before you purchase. Also check the seller's Feedback for signs of others having the same issue.
