Expensive clothing ...(Either Miss-sent or miss-delivered) CaseClosed: Buyers-be-warned

EBay refuses to get involved .. and sellers refuse to file a claim...

Resulting in Ebay having buyers pay for items that never get delivered and buyer is out of their payment....

Am filing Police Reports against USPS and the Brisbane, US Post Office

Insured items with open cases wo different VERY EXPENSIVE sweaters: $1200 - $1800 each... insured

1) Source: Miami -> Destination Brisbane, CA (near (10 mile away from) SF)

USPS: Tracking Miami -> Los Angelos, then San Francisco, then back to Los Angelos : Open up a tracking issue with the Post Office : LOST ....

EBay won't get involved ... opened a case .. they closed it...

2) Source New York -> Destination, Brisbane, CA( near (10 miles away from) SF)

USPS : Tracking : Miss-delivered :  5th of 6th item (other items found by Supervisor) Brisbane, PO , said to file a claim.. sender refuses because it was marked delivered Open a case with EBay.. They closed it

3) Marc Jacobs : Mens leather jacket : $1500 - $2000 retail

Again delivery person said that he took a jacket and placed it with a 3-4" tall x 12" small Post Office.. USPS Supervisor found the item and correctly delivered it...

4) ... & 5) and 6) Items that with written addresses over Business labels are attempted delivered to the Electronic Addresses (closed business) even if the updated address is written and the old address is scratched out... EBay refuses to get involved and force the seller to file a claim, item never gets delivered, and the POST OFFICE then allows employees to take the items...

Ebay refuses to actually follow up with any type of action if the items is miss-delivered or lost...

Don't trust Ebay by opening A Case because it will just be closed by them

@erblichs,

It sounds like you bought 3 items from the same seller. Why would you buy from them again after the first item was mis-shipped.

You lost the cases because the seller is using fake addresses that either do not exist so items are returned as un-deliverable, or something (probably not what you bought) was delivered.  In those cases eBay's automated system automatically closes Item Not Received (INR) disputes.

What you will need to do to get a refund, is contact the USPS, by phone with the tracking numbers for each item. You can also try going to your local post office with the tracking info.   Ask the rep/counter person,  to pull up the label's information shipping address, package size and weight. If none of the info matches Ex. an envelope weighing under 1lb, an address that was not yours. You will have to get that information sent to you on USPS stationary.   Then you can file an appeal through ebay and attach scan or a readable photograph showing the wrong address and/or package size and weight.  If it has been more than 30 days since the items were to have been delivered you may have to file through PayPal, but you will need the same tracking info obtained from the P.O.
