"Must Pay By April 19" Re: Ebay

Ive had a "running tab" with a few sellers of the items I collect, meaning they are allowing me to buy, but not pay yet. Ive been doing this for a month with one seller.
I suddenly got notices saying "MUST PAY BY APRIL 19 TO AVOID CANCELLATION" plastered to these sales in my "Purchases" list. The sellers say they didnt ask Ebay to do this and have no problems with me piling up the sales. Whats odd is that the sales that are the oldest just say "must pay by April 19". Some of the newest ones add the "to avoid cancellation".
Anyone ever hear of or see Ebay doing this? Would Ebay actually cancel orders without the sellers permission?
