Seller described an Iphone with 1 year Applecare but when looked up the IMEI, it’s expired

Hello eBayers, I recently bought an iPhone from a seller described as “ with one year Applecare.” Still, when the phone arrived, I checked its IMEI on the apple website, it shows that the Applecare has been expired, I contacted the seller, and she refused to refund because she listed it as none-refundable. Besides, she claimed that the phone is in excellent condition, but when I checked the screen through normal light, there are a lot of minor scratches. So please advise me how to handle this situation.

Thank you.
