Unusual author's signature placement

While processing the next thousand photos for listing, I managed to think this was odd.

The book: "Glenna Snow's Cook Book". Glenna Snow was the cooking column writer for the local paper, and this was assembled from her published recipes. Not unusual to find one, since it is local, even though it is now 80 years from the publication date.

Not unusual to find it signed, I'd think, either. Local authors come to our library today to sign books.

But this one is signed on the FFEP, not the title page or something else. Usually the location of the owner's name.

There are no other owner's names, not that it means something one way or another.

But it could be the owner's personal copy, making it something sort of special.
