Ive had some searches for almost 30 years

Now they no longer work. I cant search newly listed items in the antiquarian category. My search has been changed so I have to look at every listing every time I search. Ebay eliminated my 24 hr range and there is no way to bring it back that I can find. Ive been here almost 30 years and seen alot of dumb changes but this makes the whole affair unusable. I have to look though the same 9 days of listings (16000 books on avg) on every search. Apparently I am no longer going to be a buyer unless I luck onto something on my specific searches.  What madness. Sales will drop off a cliff as Im sure others are affected also. Who want to look though the same 16,00 books every day for 9 days.

@force_of_iron

I just replied to your other post, but I will reply here as well.

You should still be able to limit your searches to items listed in the last 24 hours using the Advanced Search page.

While old searches may stop working for various reasons, all the same search features should still be available one way or the other.

If you describe your current search -- keywords, category, and filter options -- or provide a link to the existing search, there should be a way to recreate the search so that it works with whatever changes eBay has made in the last few years.

Y it is very difficult to find the path but it can be done. I recreated them last night after some time. Sure would be nice if everything would just be on the sidebar.

Yes, updating searches is not fun, but it must be done from time to time to keep the searches relevant. Even when eBay does not make any changes, it is often a good idea to revisit your searches and try some search variations, as sellers can change the way items are listed or which keywords are used, or which categories certain items are listed in. New filter options become available, or wind up being used by more new sellers.

I keep bookmarks of many of my repeated searches in a folder of my browser toolbar, so I can reach them quickly, and change them quickly if needed -- and also to open all of them at once in new tabs with a couple of clicks (in Firefox, right click on the folder and choose "open all bookmarks").
