Vintage tnt Barbie

I’m wondering if anyone knows how to replace the leg on a 1967 tnt Barbie. I’ve noticed they have a plastic attachment that was occasionally broken at the hip. It does not hold the leg on tight any longer. Any ideas?

Re: Vintage tnt Barbie

If you still have the knob (they often break off inside the hip), you can carefully heat the joint and remove it, then glue it back. I've used a glue for plastics that comes with two parts, from Loctite. You'd need to heat the hip (soaking in hot water) before snapping it back on. There's a least one video on youtube with instructions.

There used to be a place that sold a thing with replacement knobs for legs/arms and necks, I think it was called RestoreDoll, or something.
