I thought a paperclip meant an attachment in all email communications, i got a message with a paperclip next to it, but i clicked on it, nothing, opened the message and scrolled through it but still see no attachment.
A paperclip does indicate an attachment, but not every possible attachment is viewable. And some attachments are just vehicles to install malware or adware.
