every time I ship a round tube 37 inches long it cost about $12.00 and 2 or 3 weeks later I get billed for $20.95 extra saying that the weight on the label was 48 oz and the billable weight was 3 lbs (48oz is the same as 3 lbs)
When I click on the link to "View Adjustment" it goes nowhere,,error ,,no explanation. I called ebayand they told me it was an adjustment for over size or odd shaped package but UPS's website has no such adjustments.
This has cost me over $200.00 so far and it sounds like a scam...

UPS does charge extra for shipping tubes (so do USPS and FedEx) and on their website the charge should be shown under "Additional handling fees". The fee depends on the size and weight of the tube.

Ebay will pass thru charges to the seller in the case when the package was overweight and/or different dimensions from what was provided when purchasing the label in the first place. Make sure you're allowing for packaging when checking the item's size and weight and account for the most accurate dimensions when purchasing the label.
