upon trying to get a return refund, I cannot follow procedure

It requests a photograph to complete the process. I do not own a mobile phone, I use a landline, so I am incapable of taking the required photo. I had cancelled the order a few minutes after placing it, that was ignored, the item was sent three days later, and is defective as well. Total disappointment and disgust. ebay's chat will not give any option to allow for my case. I may not use ebay again and recommend others not to either. Ebay has never resolved any problem I have had with sellers.

Do you have a digital camera? If so, take your photos, download them to your computer and save them. Then attached them to your return. If you can't do that, then contact eBay and ask for a call back.

 

At the link below, you can request a call back from eBay by clicking Have us call you on the left side of the page. If you don't see that option, click Chat with our automated assistant. Then type "agent" at the bottom in the chat box. You'll see an option to request a call back there.

As for cancellations...buyers cannot cancel orders, they can only request a cancellation. It's at the seller's discretion to comply or not. Cancellations cost sellers time and money they cannot recoup and disrupt the marketplace for other buyers. The time to decide whether you want an item is before you buy it.

 

What kinds of problems has eBay not resolved for you? What actions did you take? Did you follow the process? Meet deadlines?
